Hoodie and Polo Shirt with 3D Embossed Logo
3D embossing presses your logo directly into the fabric as a raised relief - no colour, but a premium effect. Ideal for corporate apparel where you want to stand out.
3D embossing presses a logo into fabric to create a raised relief that you can both see and feel. Unlike standard printing, it looks subtle and premium - because shape takes precedence over colour.
It is the right choice for companies that want hoodies and polo shirts with a higher level of finish, without bold or striking colours.
How embossing works
The logo is pressed into the fabric using heat and pressure through a shaped die. The material is permanently compressed into a relief that holds its form even after washing. The result is a subtle, single-tone effect in the colour of the fabric - one that stands out through light and shadow rather than colour.
Which fabrics are suitable
Embossing shows best on thicker, softer materials: high-gsm hoodies and sweatshirts, polo shirts and shirts for a representative look, gilets and softshell jackets. It works best with a simpler logo that has clean, defined shapes.
Embossing versus embroidery and printing
| Technique | Appearance | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Embossing | raised relief in the tone of the fabric | premium, understated look |
| Embroidery | thread-stitched logo | durability and classic elegance |
| Printing | full-colour motif | full colour and fine detail |
In practice, embossing makes the most sense for larger corporate runs, where its premium character really comes through. Send us your logo and the type of apparel and we will be happy to assess whether a relief finish is appropriate - or recommend embroidery as an alternative - and prepare a price quote.
Časté otázky
It is the process of pressing a logo into fabric using heat and pressure, creating a raised relief in the tone of the material. The logo is visible and tangible to the touch, but it is not coloured the way printing is.
It works best on thicker, softer materials such as hoodies, polo shirts, gilets, and softshell jackets. On thin fabrics the relief does not hold its shape as clearly.
Choose embossing for a subtle, single-tone premium effect that blends with the fabric. Choose embroidery when you want a thread-stitched logo with classic elegance and maximum durability.
Simpler logos with clean shapes work best. Very fine details and thin lines are harder to transfer into a relief, so we assess these before production.
