Quick answer

Screen printing is a proven technique in which ink is forced through the open areas of a stencil (screen) directly onto the material. It is best suited to larger runs of simpler logos on fabric, bags and items - it delivers vivid colours and exceptional resistance to washing and abrasion. For higher quantities it is very economical; we prepare a free graphic design and a price quote within 1 hour.

How it works

How does screen printing work?

From preparing the screen to the finished printed piece. We manage the entire process for you - you just approve the design.

  1. 1 Screen preparation We prepare a stencil (screen) for each colour of the logo, through which the ink will be forced. This is why screen printing pays off mainly for larger runs.
  2. 2 Forcing the ink Ink is pushed through the screen directly onto the material, layer by layer for each colour of the design.
  3. 3 Drying and fixing We dry and fix the print so it withstands washing, abrasion and long-term use.

Frequently asked questions about screen printing

What it is, how it works, advantages, which products it suits and the difference from digital printing.

Screen printing is a proven technique in which ink is forced through the open areas of a screen (stencil) directly onto the material. It is suited to fabric, metal, glass, paper and plastic and allows vivid colours and special effects (UV, fluorescent, thermosensitive).

We prepare a screen for each colour of the logo. The ink is pushed through the screen directly onto the material, layer by layer, then dried and fixed. The result is a vivid and highly durable print.

Low unit cost for larger runs, exceptional resistance to washing and abrasion, vivid colours (up to 10 at once including special inks) and the ability to print on flat and cylindrical items (rotary screen printing).

T-shirts, hoodies, bags, umbrellas, as well as pens and bottles (rotary 360° screen printing). It works best for simpler logos and larger runs.

Screen printing pays off for large runs of simpler logos - it delivers a lower unit price and very vivid colours. Digital printing handles full-colour photo designs and small runs without preparing screens. We will recommend the most suitable technique based on your design and quantity.

Screen printing is most economical for larger runs, but we can handle smaller ones too. For low quantities we often recommend digital printing, which requires no screen preparation. Send your logo and quantity and we will suggest the best option.
